At HealthPlan Data Solutions, the marketing function is responsible for all messaging, branding, and communications externally on behalf of the company. We manage content, design, strategy, and execution regarding all collateral for the business including various media vendors, HDS-RX.com, and the company’s social media account on LinkedIn. Marketing closely links with the product team and helps translate our technology offerings into salable solutions.

Marketing Intern Job Responsibilities and Duties

A successful marketing intern will be responsible for working on a wide range of ad hoc assignments including designing and developing sales collateral, conducting competitive research, executing social media posts, and organizing thought leadership efforts. Additional duties include, but are not limited to:

Assisting the marketing team in the planning/execution of content strategy
Designing marketing and sales collateral
Drafting and scheduling social media posts and press releases
Monitoring industry news and social media to aid in research analysis
Conducting market and competitor research
Creating and maintaining PPT slide decks
