STAQ is currently hiring for a Quality Engineering Intern to join our team for the spring semester.
This individual will work from 16-20 hours during the week, and be able to work 3-4 hours with no interruption in between.

Hours: Monday to Friday, any hours between 8 AM and 5 PM
Pay: $17.29-$20/hour

The successful intern would: Be supported by a mentor/leader and experienced colleagues and involved in routine Quality and MS&T (Engineering) activities.Learn cGMP compounding pharmaceutical operations like formulation, filling, aseptic techniques, and manufacturing principles.Learn about and participate in Quality, Facilities, Operations, and/or R&D activities.Focus on Quality, Transparency, Safety and Availability objectives compatible with the company’s mission and vision while gaining real-world skills to be utilized in pharmaceutical, medical device, and/or other related industries. Perform efficiency-based time studies on various processes and/or job roles.Support validation activities.Support Quality Assurance activities including Deviations/Investigations, Change Controls, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), etc.Perform troubleshooting of operational concerns.Participate in brainstorming, data analysis for problem resolution.Write and implement standard operating procedures to meet and maintain FDA cGMP, USP, and state licensure requirements.Support Continuous Improvement projects for process improvement.Other duties and tasks, as assigned.
Senior, Junior working towards a BS in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, and/or Science.Focused and willing to learn & work hard.Providing solutions to problems identified.Great teamwork, reliable, positive attitude, etc.
Excellent independent judgement and interpersonal skills
Excellent mathematical, written communication, and verbal communication skills
Minimum of three to five years of FDA industry experience
Strong technical writing skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with current Good Manufacturing Practices and FDA Regulations
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and/or AutoCAD.
Require a minimum of 4 hours on each day here; total hours per week range from 16-24 hours.
Timeframe – Fall Semester, Spring Semester; renewable for successful incumbent.
