\nSTAQ Pharma is currently hirning for a VP of Sales for our team in Columbus, OH.
\n\n\n\nJob Summary:
\n\n\n\nDirects and develops sales strategy, operational plans, tactics, and processes that will drive revenue growth and accomplish financial objectives. Establishes and implements processes, tools, and structures to support the sales organization’s operations. Oversees goal setting to develop targets for departmental levels of the sales organization and uses data and technology to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance. Creates and implements capabilities to analyze the business environment, identify and understand competitors, and retain and expand the customer base. Uses market and customer insights to collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and suggest new products. Builds effective sales and support teams with recruiting, mentoring, and development programs. May personally participate in or negotiate strategic or high-value sales.
\n\n\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities:
\n\n\n\n· Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
\n\n\n\n· Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
\n\n\n\n· Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
\n\n\n\n· Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
\n\n\n\n· Performs other related duties as assigned.
\n\n\n\nDuties/Responsibilities:
\n\n\n\n· Develops a strategic business plan that creates solutions, strategies, and tactical plans to address local market conditions and Enterprise customer goals, while achieving company targets. Adjusts strategy in advance of, and in response to, market shifts and competitive trends to capitalize on local market potentials and address customer needs.
\n\n\n\n· Devises, tracks, and shares business metrics to enhance productivity and improve performance. Determines and applies appropriate business metrics to identify the leading indicators of performance for the organization. Communicates best practices up, down, and across the organization.
\n\n\n\n· Demonstrates and reinforces discipline and commitment while clearly communicating expectations. Holds team members accountable to achieve goals, while working within compliance and company guidelines.
\n\n\n\n· Collaborate with the President and other leaders to maintain and increase the revenue attainment plan for the direct sales team and requisite reporting while ensuring efficient operations by implementing a lean and effective go-to-market structure.
\n\n\n\n· Maintain awareness of relevant market knowledge and trends, including but not limited to; evolving technologies and their management, client needs, expectations, and opportunities, shifts in the competitive landscape, and operational efficiencies.
\n\n\n\n· Drive a collective strategy through the direct sales organization by partnering with the direct sales leadership team to establish sales goals, targets, and forecasts, to ensure individual and company sales objectives are met or exceeded.
\n\n\n\n· Develop, implement, and manage a consistent overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales pipeline management, and implement automation tools to effectively measure the sales team on metrics relevant to outcomes.
\n\n\n\n· Actively participate in client interaction; assist in negotiation and closing major deals when needed.
\n\n\n\n· Regularly evaluates strategy, resource allocation and utilization, profitability, business results, and customer goal attainment to maximize outcomes. Takes action to correct and refine processes when targets are not achieved or when additional opportunities arise.
\n\n\n\n· Is relentless in the personal and team’s adherence to company and industry compliance policies.
\n\n\n\n· Champions for teamwork and collaboration within the organization and across different departments. Establishes effective communication processes across the team to ensure that information is shared openly, and key stakeholders remain informed.
\n\n\n\n· Actively involved in the construction and delivery of training and development strategies by working with Marketing Team. Ensures team members continually increase proficiency through educational activities and developmental assignments.
\n\n\n\n· Acts quickly to address performance issues to keep the team focused on the business. Manages conflict proactively within the team.
\n\n\n\n· Represent STAQ Pharma’s interest at national association meetings and conventions.
\n\n\n\nRequired Skills/Abilities:
\n\n\n\n· Excellent aptitude for team building, coaching, motivating, strategic thinking, business acumen, leadership, and sales techniques.

\n\n\n\nEducation and Experience:
\n\n\n\n· 10+ years of progressive sales team leadership experience overseeing national/regional direct sales teams with proven quota attainment.
\n\n\n\n· Sales Experience in telecommunications industry.
\n\n\n\n· Outstanding negotiating skills.
\n\n\n\n· Compelling presentation skills with a natural ability to hold strategic conversations and analyze audiences to change tactics.
\n\n\n\n· Track record of driving revenue in a high growth, performance-oriented organization
\n\n\n\n· Portrays uncompromising integrity and ethics within all interactions. Serves as a positive role model for the team when working with customers and internal/external business partners.
\n\n\n\n· Working knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and the prescription drug distribution process in a large healthcare organization or prescription drug vendor; understands the pharmaceutical supply chain distribution process.
\n\n\n\n· Understands the laws and regulations affecting contracting and pricing in the pharmaceutical industry.
\n\n\n\n· Understands the relevant business strategies and manages performance to meet customer and STAQ Pharma expectations.
\n\n\n\nPhysical Requirements:
\n\n\n\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
\n\n\n\nMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
\n\n\n\nThis position requires frequent travel.
