Are you looking to launch your career in finance with a dynamic and collaborative team? We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Clerk at STAQ Pharma. This role provides an excellent entry point into the world of finance and accounting, offering the chance to work closely with multiple departments to ensure seamless vendor bill management and customer invoice processing.

As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our company. Your primary responsibilities will include handling AP and AR transactions, collaborating with internal teams to ensure proper billing processes, and performing other data entry activities, including inventory transactions. This role also involves customer communication to address billing discrepancies and facilitate payment processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and distribute incoming mail to appropriate departments.
  • Receive, code, and submit bills for approval by relevant managers.
  • Record approved bills accurately into the General Ledger (using Quickbooks).
  • Liaise with vendors to address billing discrepancies.
  • Record invoices received from the sales department.
  • Apply customer payments to open invoices and send customer statements.
  • Follow up on delinquent customer payments.
  • Process employee expense reports and other data entry tasks (Excel skills required).
  • Coordinate breakroom snack orders and replenish breakroom supplies.
  • Assist with office supply orders through platforms like Amazon.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Demonstrated willingness to assist beyond assigned duties to support team members.
  • Excellent time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective task prioritization capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
