Are you a laborer with equipment experience? The Resident’s Pad Specialist’s (Equipment Laborer) primary responsibility is to create a positive and helpful experience for residents by providing clear guidance on waste disposal at the Landfill Resident’s Pad. This role helps ensure every visitor feels welcomed, informed, and supported while using our facility.Responsibilities: Operate equipment such as a backhoe, bobcat, Sked steer, or similar machinery to support daily operations and assist residents as needed, always following safety guidelines. Greet residents and guide them on where and how to safely dispose of their waste at the SWACO Residents Pad.Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service by answering questions and offering helpful guidance on disposal procedures.Listen to resident feedback, address concerns with care and professionalism, and contribute to a clean, safe, and organized environment.Help ensure all materials are disposed of properly while identifying and reporting unauthorized waste. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience operating equipment such as a backhoe, bobcat, mini excavator, or similar machinery and/or possession of a valid Class B CDL preferredHigh school diploma or equivalentExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to learn and follow waste disposal regulations and proceduresWillingness to complete training and build knowledge of SWACO’s operationsStrong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help othersAttention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality, reliable serviceAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members
