About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Product Manager – Billing & Financial Integration to lead the evolution of our billing and revenue management systems. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in product management, deep FinTech expertise, and a background in accounting, ERP systems, and SaaS billing solutions. You will play a critical role in scaling billing processes, driving financial compliance, and implementing automated solutions to improve efficiency. Initially, the role will involve migrating customer accounts from a legacy entity into a newly created company, prepping for scale.

Key Responsbilities:

• Own the strategy and roadmap for billing migration and financial integrations, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Lead the implementation of billing, CRM, and ERP tools to streamline revenue operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, sales, and implementation to define requirements and deliver scalable billing solutions.
• Optimize account billing workflows, including upgrades, downgrades, add-ons, and marketplace transactions.
• Work closely with COO/CFO to improve financial reporting accuracy by automating accounting close cycles and revenue recognition processes.
• Drive compliance efforts for financial regulations (SOC2, GDPR, ISO, State level sales tax).
• Identify revenue opportunities and optimize billing accuracy.
• Enhance customer experience through innovative billing solutions and proactive issue resolution.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in product management, financial operations, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of SaaS, SaaS billing systems, Zuora (preferred), Zoho (preferred), and revenue operations.
• Proven ability to drive billing scalability, automation, and process optimization.
• Experience with financial compliance, tax regulations, and payment gateways.
• Ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable technical solutions.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis and workflow design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, CS, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Experience:

• Hands-on experience with Zuora billing tools, ERP/CRM solutions (Zoho, NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar), and financial planning software.
• Background in quality assurance testing, revenue recovery, and billing optimizations.
• Exposure to SaaS business models and subscription-based pricing strategies.
• Working with pace in a Series A-B level company scaling into the market..
