About MVA Energy: HCTNS / MVA Energy marks a new beginning, integrating and expanding the successful U.S. operations of IEN HanChang, a leading Korean power equipment company. We are relocating our established West Coast transformer services and logistics business (HCTNS) to Ohio and launching a new manufacturing and energy solutions venture (MVA Energy), making Columbus our consolidated U.S. headquarters. We aim to become a comprehensive energy solutions provider, covering everything from manufacturing and sales to rental and servicing of transformers and switchgear. - Title: Manager (Owner’s Rep Track)
- Location: Columbus, OH (Rev1 Ventures) | Travel: 30–50% (OH, TX, IL, OR, etc.)
- Type: Full-time
Mission: Acting as the Owner's Representative, you will manage the entire lifecycle of the company's key physical asset development projects (e.g., manufacturing plants, service centers).
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the full project lifecycle from real estate sourcing, permitting, and design to construction and commissioning.
- Due Diligence: Analyze potential sites, support LOI/PSA, and manage due diligence materials (Title, ALTA, ESA).
- Permitting & Entitlements: Manage all zoning and permitting processes, coordinating with state, county, and utility authorities.
- Contracts & Cost Control: Manage bidding and contracts for design-build (DB/GMP) firms; monitor project budgets.
Qualifications:
- 4-10 years of experience in development or project/construction management in the industrial, manufacturing, or energy infrastructure sectors.
- Deep understanding of the real estate development, permitting, and DB/GMP contracting processes.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam).
- Preferred: A degree in Real Estate Development, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field; PMP certification.
Bicultural Environment:
- Collaboration with the Korean HQ is required. Understanding of bicultural business environments is necessary; proficiency in Korean or a willingness to learn is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
- A competitive base salary.
- An annual cash bonus (5-15% of annual salary) based on performance metrics (schedule, budget, permits), plus a separate project completion bonus.
- Eligibility for LTIP and a full benefits package.
