With the recent acquisition of Sway, the leading mobile concussion assessment platform, Healthy Roster is entering a major growth phase. The company is expanding its platform and accelerating its path to becoming the system of record for youth athlete health, availability, and communication.

Role Overview
As VP of Marketing, you will build and lead the company’s marketing function and own the end-to-end marketing strategy. This includes demand generation, product marketing, positioning and messaging, brand development, and marketing operations.
You will partner closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to drive pipeline growth, accelerate revenue, and establish Healthy Roster as the clear market leader in athlete health technology.
This role reports directly to the CEO and calls for an experienced B2B SaaS marketing leader who can both set the strategic direction and roll up their sleeves to execute, with a relentless focus on measurable outcomes and revenue impact.
Responsibilities
Pipeline ownership & demand generation
Build and execute a demand-generation strategy that consistently delivers a high-quality pipeline across digital marketing, events, partnerships, and integrated campaigns.
Revenue funnel optimization
Own marketing’s contribution to pipeline and revenue, continuously improving conversion rates across the funnel in partnership with Sales and GTM leadership.
Messaging & content strategy
Develop compelling messaging and content that resonates with prospects and customers across the full buying journey.
Product positioning & launches
Create clear positioning and competitive differentiation for Healthy Roster’s expanding product platform, while enabling successful product launches and sales team readiness.
Cross-functional GTM leadership
Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to align on growth targets, customer insights, and field feedback.
Marketing systems & analytics
Own the marketing tech stack, reporting infrastructure, and data framework to ensure accurate measurement of pipeline performance and campaign ROI.
Budget management & ROI discipline
Manage and allocate the marketing budget with a clear focus on channel performance, pipeline generation, and revenue impact.
Team building & leadership
Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing marketing team while establishing the structure, processes, and accountability needed to scale marketing performance.
Professional Qualifications
- 12+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, including senior leadership roles
- Experience marketing SaaS products with $5K–$10K ACV
- Builder mentality with experience scaling marketing at high-growth companies
- Proven ability to drive pipeline generation and revenue impact
- Strong operational and process orientation with experience scaling marketing systems and programs
- Data-driven and analytical decision maker
- Experience partnering closely with sales leadership to build predictable pipeline generation
- Strong familiarity and curiosity with leveraging AI tools and technologies
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Experience in multi-product companies and post-acquisition environments strongly preferred
- Experience in K-12, sports technology, or education markets preferred
