We are seeking a Senior IT Engineer or higher to join our team! This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in keeping our cutting-edge healthcare simulation technology running smoothly, ensuring both internal operations and customer systems function flawlessly. You will design and develop solutions to complex application problems or network concerns.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining & Upgrading IT Infrastructure (On-Premises & Cloud): You'll be the backbone of our IT infrastructure, overseeing both on-premises and cloud environments. This includes performing regular system maintenance, implementing upgrades to optimize performance, and even developing new features to enhance functionality and efficiency.
- Comprehensive IT Documentation: Detailed and up-to-date documentation is crucial. You'll be responsible for creating and meticulously maintaining comprehensive records of our entire IT infrastructure for future reference.
- IT Administration & Security Champion: You'll manage key accounts like Office 365, our domain, public website, ISP, and other vendor accounts. Additionally, you'll play a vital role in safeguarding company data and assets by implementing and enforcing robust IT security policies.
- Inventory Management Pro: You'll oversee the entire lifecycle of our IT inventory. This includes managing the acquisition, tracking, setup, and ongoing maintenance of all hardware and software assets.
- Proactive Operations & Collaboration: Staying ahead of potential issues is key. You'll actively monitor systems for alerts, investigate any production failures to ensure smooth operation, and work collaboratively with our support team to resolve customer IT issues effectively.
- Streamlining Troubleshooting: To ensure efficient troubleshooting, you'll design and implement a ticketing system to track both internal and external production-related issues, encompassing AWS and portal functionalities. Additionally, you'll create a centralized dashboard to consolidate all tracking systems and provide a holistic view of IT operations, potentially integrated with AWS and our portal.
- Seamless Collaboration with our IT Service Provider: Working alongside our trusted partner, you'll help manage all helpdesk needs and ensure smooth operation of our on-premises network. You'll also be ready to assist internal teams with IT helpdesk issues whenever needed.
- Hospital IT Integration Specialist: You'll play a key role in onboarding new hospital customers. This includes working closely with their IT teams, assisting them with questionnaires, and implementing any projects they may require.
- AWS Management Expertise: Our cloud infrastructure is mission critical. You'll be responsible for managing all aspects of our AWS environments for both production and staging. Additionally, you'll handle deployments for all product development deliverables.
- Project Management Savvy: Your IT expertise extends beyond technical skills. You'll design and implement IT solutions for product development projects and actively collaborate with the team to determine hospital IT requirements for new initiatives.
- Cybersecurity Expertise: While application-level security can be a collaborative effort with our PD engineers, we welcome candidates with the expertise to take ownership of this aspect as well. You'll be responsible for initiating crucial security measures like penetration testing, SOC audits, third-party cybersecurity audits, and conducting regular backups/recovery testing to ensure robust data security. Additionally, you'll implement and maintain data security measures like encryption, access controls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Regulatory Compliance Champion: You'll ensure our IT and cybersecurity practices comply with all relevant healthcare and cybersecurity regulations and standards, including those set forth by the FDA.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field..
- 5+ years of experience preferred in computer engineering, architecture, or other related field with a minimum of 3 year experience industry/hospital setting.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
