The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) provides HR consultation to a designated business unit in the Denver location. This role leverages a strong understanding of the business to offer HR support and guidance, ensuring alignment between people strategies and business objectives. The HRBP collaborates directly with business leaders to develop and implement HR solutions that drive organizational success.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership: Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders on people-related matters, ensuring HR initiatives align with business goals.
  • Employee Relations: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations as needed. Provide coaching to managers and employees to foster a positive work environment.
  • Leadership Development: Support leadership in identifying and developing talent within the organization. Facilitate training and development programs to enhance managerial effectiveness.
  • Change Management: Lead and support change initiatives by developing strategies to drive employee engagement and adoption of new processes.
  • Organizational Development: Conduct assessments and partner with leadership to implement workforce planning, succession planning, and other HR programs.
  • HR Metrics & Analytics: Utilize HR data and analytics to identify trends, provide insights, and make data-driven recommendations to improve business performance.
  • Compliance & Policy Implementation: Ensure HR policies and procedures are communicated, understood, and adhered to within the business unit. Assist in the interpretation and application of company policies and legal compliance.
  • HR Liaison: Act as a point of contact between the business unit and HR centers of excellence, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and learning & development.


Required Skills/Abilities: (examples)

  • Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with leadership and employees at all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and coaching skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in change management and organizational development.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations.
  • Background in a regulated industry (e.g., pharmaceuticals, manufacturing).

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
