Purpose of Position:

Sr. Director of Sales is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of the sales function for QurHealth Solutions in the United States. The successful candidate will establish the program for selling QurHealth products and services, personally make executive level contacts, recruit and lead the sales team, and work cooperatively with the leaders of marketing, engineering and all other departments. The sales leader is responsible for working with the CEO to establish the strategy and setting sales targets with the CEO. The sales leader is responsible for providing the guidance to lead the organization to achieve its growth targets.

Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • 45%: Makes C suite level contacts in the target markets and maintains a personal market presence with leaders in the industry, such as Manage Care Organizations, home health delivery organizations and other organizational spaces buying QurHealth products.
  • 15%: Recruits and leads a sales team, managing employee performance and behavior and provides sales technique and career development coaching for direct reports.
  • 30%: Creates and refines sales strategies and tactics, setting goals and adjusting direction continuously to achieve goals
  • 5%: Participates in QurHealth management activities will all department heads
  • 5%: Stays abreast of all technical and business developments for the QurHealth Solutions product line, communicates with the user experience and engineering teams providing sales team feedback on products

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree focused in Public Health, Public Health Administration, or related healthcare or IT field and at least 10 years of related work experience.
  • Senior management experience in managed care companies, at or directly reporting to the C suite.
  • Prior leadership roles in healthcare either overseeing the sales function, or as the sales leader
  • Proficient knowledge of the Medicaid and Medicare system and the industries that support home care delivery for the beneficiaries of one or both systems
  • Strong written/oral communication skills, including proficiency with executive level communication including written correspondence and presentations
  • Proven results in growing a business profile in a healthcare related market
  • Experience creating sales strategies, tactics and campaigns
  • Existing/established relationships that provide access to VP and above executives at managed care organizations, and the ability to lead a sales function are critical

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with the employer benefit marketplace and Employee Assistance Programs
  • Experience with Direct-to-Consumer healthcare products
  • Recognized certifications from, or participatory positions with healthcare association type organizations such as AHIP, HIMSS, AHIMA, etc.
  • Author of articles, industry recognized blogs or other publications regarding the US healthcare landscape

Scope of Position:

Senior Leader. This position reports to CEO. This position is the head of a major business function and is responsible for establishing the direction within the department. Develops and enforces execution plans and assignment of resources to successfully meet business objectives. Manages business performance and links day-to-day operations to strategic objectives and goals. Implements and reinforces company vision and strategic priorities. Interprets, executes and recommends modifications to company policies. Develops and manages operating plans and associated budgets. Manages, coordinates, provides leadership to and reviews the work of managerial and / or senior professional level subordinates. Responsible for staffing, training, directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees.
