Technical Business Analyst

MESH is looking for an experienced and versatile technical business analyst to help improve its softwares & products. Someone with strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills is integral to success. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this role will responsible for bridging the gap between business and technology and more specifically between functional requirements into technical requirements that can drive products & functionality. · Performing system analyses on software programs, applications and web services

· Determining system efficiency and functionality by liasing with internal departments and end-users

· Efficiently integrating new systems, programs, and applications with business operations and services

· Analyzing and improving the performance of web-based customer portals and support services

· Translating functional, business requirements into detailed technical requirements

· Works effectively and individually with technical and non-technical team members & customers

· Assist in creating and planning functionality in agile sprints & software development projects

· Ensuring end-user proficiency with new systems, progrms and applications across departments

Skills and Competencies:

· BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology or related filed

· Extensive experience in technical business analysis in a related industry

· Advanced knowledge of programming languages like .NET, C#

· Advanced knowledge of database architecture & system design

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into layman terms and vica versa

· Confident, high-energy, self motivated and true-team player

· Well organized, with a high attention to detail & ability to prioritize

· Excellent multitasking and project management skills

Approximate Time Commitment:

· 60% time is spent working with Product Mangers on understanding and translating business requirements

· 25% time spent working with team on resource & development planning

· 15% time spent on overall engineering and software development related iniatatives around security, architecture, design, etc.
